Step 2:
Register for the Evaluation by calling us or emailing us. We have a
number of open technique classes that advanced students may add to their
schedule or just take it monthly. Ballet Technique Level I, IX, II, IIX,
III, IIIX, IV, Jazz technique level 1,1X,2,2X,3 Modern Technique-Beginner,
Intermediate, Pre-Pointe, Pointe I, II, III. All must be evaluated to be
placed in the appropriate level.
Age groups include Ages 7-Adult.

$30.00 fee(This is also the registration fee for the school and
will be applied to the registration fee if the student accepts, if
they do not accept it is applied as an evaluation fee.

BALLET COMPANY
The COMAD Ballet Concerto Program provides a graded system of ballet training
and preprofessional performing experience. This program is for the student
interested in persuing a professional carreer or dance at the college level, for
those who wish to study pointe, for those who want to improve their ballet
technique more aggressively, or simply for those who want a more intense/serious
approach to their ballet training. Students are evaluated for placement and are
required to attend a minimum number of technique and pointe/prepointe classes
along with a rehearsal class based on their level placement. All students in
Ballet Concerto perform an annual ballet production as well as the recitals.
Past ballet productions include Cinderella, A Midsummer NIght's
Dream, Beauty and the Beast and The Nutcracker.
Rehearsals for productions take place on Saturdays (following their scheduled
class) for a 10 week period. Advanced dancers may be called to additional
rehearsals during the week following their scheduled classes. Students ages 9
and up can audition for this program.
PRE TEAM
Students 7 and older may be recommended by a teacher or through an
audition/evaluation for Pre Team. Pre teams take a choreography
class(Ballet and Jazz Dance)- one hour and assigned and also a Ballet Technique
class. (Optional class day/times but assigned to the preferred class).
Pre teams are required to participate in a holiday show in December and also end
of the year recital: Informal/Formals.
They are also invited to participate in other performances and opportunities
which are optional.
2 costumes are required.
Jackets and shoes required to be purchased.
DANCE TEAM-Audition/Evaluation required.
Dance Team takes 3 hours of classes a week, usually 2 days a week. Level 2
Dance Teams must participate in 4 hours a week of classes- (2 hours must be
ballet technique).
Dance Team participate in a Ballet Dance and Jazz dance. They participate
in a holiday show, a competition,
and also end of the year recital: Informal/Formals.
They are also invited to participate in other performances and opportunities
which are optional.
2 costumes are required. Jackets and shoes required to be purchased.
DANCE COMPANY-
Dance Company takes 4 hours of classes a week and must also be in a Modern
Company or Ballet Concerto. These students are very serious students
Dance Team participate in a Ballet Dance and Jazz dance. They participate
in a holiday show, a competition, and also end of the year recital:
Informal/Formals.
They may also have additional performances and opportunities which are
optional.
2 costumes are required.
MODERN COMPANY
Modern Company takes 4 hours of classes a week, usually 2 days a week.
(2 hours must be ballet technique).
They participate in a holiday show, a competition, and also end of
the year recital: Informal/Formals.
They are also invited to participate in other performances and opportunities
which are optional.
2 costumes are required. Jackets and shoes required to be purchased.
TAP COMPANY
Tap Company takes 3 hours of classes a week, usually 2 days a week.
They participate in a holiday show, a competition, and also end of the
year recital: Informal/Formals.
They are also invited to participate in other performances and opportunities
which are optional.

HIP HOP COMPANY
Hip Hop Company takes 3 hours of classes a week, usually 2 days a week.
They participate in a holiday show, a competition, and also end of the
year recital: Informal/Formals.
They are also invited to participate in other performances and opportunities
which are optional.

COMPETITION TEAM
This is by special invitation and has particular class requirements.
Students will participate in 3 competitions each year. This will cancel
out Dance Company jazz technique class.
